Amazing Jakarta Sunsets

May 6, 2011

This isn’t a megapost of any sort. Just wanna say good morning to you and share with you one of the many, many beautiful sunsets that I witness from my window daily…

Most people, when choosing an apartment, look for one that is facing the “morning sun.” To most the “afternoon sun” is not desirable because it’s hot. I however have lived in places that face the so called afternoon sun. Despite the heat, when I view the sunset it makes it all worth while. For me sunsets are so romantic. In college I loved taking a nap to some Norah Jones or Jack Johnson at while staring at the sunset like this picture outside my window.  Imagine that! In the last few seconds before sleep would envelope me my I would just feel such happiness and peace. The words “so beautiful I could cry” come to mind.

So here’s to enjoying the simple things like sunsets… and have a great day ahead of you! Cheers!

Such a stunning view that you have from your window. I call that a luxury!

This is a beautiful photo! Japanese people also prefer houses or apartments facing east rather than west, but I agree, it’s beautiful. Romantic, too. The songs you mentioned tell me that you’re in younger generation than me! 😛 I love both Norah Johns and Jack Johnson. So cool!!
