ANNOUNCEMENT: Cooking Class at Turkuaz

November 12, 2012

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Jakarta, TURKUAZ, is having a cooking class (with delicious lunch after) this Wednesday, November 14! YAY! If you have ever been to TURKUAZ, you know how utterly delicious their hot apple tea, freshly baked breads, kebabs, kofta and baklava are! (those are just my favorites but there is so much more yummy food to be had.) I loved TURKUAZ so much that I wrote about the restaurant twice! You can see it here and here. Our former Ambassador was so addicted to it that he was a regular patron. It’s a favorite of diplomats and expats for the quality of the food, ambiance and the personal service of Chef Sezai and the beautiful Yanti.

It’s this Wednesday already so be sure to call Yanti to let her know you are coming! Details of the cooking class after the jump!

At IDR 400.000 nett per person, with the excellent quality of the food and lunch included I think the price is so reasonable!

Click on the links below to read more about Turkuaz excellent Turkish cuisine and amazing interiors and ambiance. The Turkuaz dining experience for me have always been special and memorable.

Turkuaz is one of our favorite restaurants in Jakarta, as you can see with all my posts about it:

400k including the lunch. My oh my, that’s a very good price. Too bad the class will take place on working day.

Anyway, I love this restaurant. Close your eyes and point anything in the menu and they’ll come with delicious food.

It is a pretty good value isn’t it! It was also very educational. Chef Sezai gave us tons of tips and tricks that he has gleaned from his experience as a professional chef. I hope to post pics on it soon!
