JAKARTA GOOD TO KNOW: Recycled Paper Bag Supplier

January 31, 2012

I discovered that there is a company that produces reused or recycled products like paper bags. I think it’s brilliant because so much paper (and trees) are used up to create packaging, and this is one way for socially responsible companies, like Borneo Chic, to further show their commitment to the environment.

I’ve only ever seen it when I purchased honey from Borneo Chic, but I think it’s a brilliant idea. And more companies should do it. I think it lessens the carbon footprint. Newspaper either stays as garbage or requires more resources to recycle into new paper, but it takes less energy to turn it into this paperbag which is useful immediately and can be reused!

It reminds me of ECHOstore in Manila which used old magazines as paperbags. But if you are a company in Jakarta (calling small business owners out there!) and you don’t have time to make your own old newspaper/magazine paper bags you can get in touch with this Recycled Products Supplier via +62 81 220 130 220.

If you know anyone with a business that would be interested in using reused/recycled product packaging, do share this with them! Thanks!
