Anvaya Cove Beach & Pool

March 1, 2020

One thing that I love, love, love about the Philippines is that we can stay all day by the pool or beach and not get cold. We can swim, grab a bite or drink by the pool & then go back for more under the sun. I don’t think foreigners realize how strong the sun is here. You will need at least SPF 50 if you are gonna be out under the sun all-day

The pools in Anvaya cove are amazing & well-designed. I’m including some photos I found online to give you an idea. I wish I took more pics of the place but I really was just having so much fun with family & friends. There are several.

THE MAIN POOL

After all the swimming it was nice that we were able to take a group pic!

THE KIDDIE POOL

They have a separate kiddie pool, but be warned it can be pretty noisy & crowded. But if your kids are having fun, why not right?

THE BEACH

So the beach of Anvaya is a cove, hence the name. It’s a white sand beach but of course, we cannot compare it to the whiteness & fine sand of Boracay, which you need to fly to enjoy.

We took our QUUT beach toys & it was a huge hit with the kids. They really are the best beach toys in the world IMO. The easiest way to make sandcastles! The shovel also makes it easy for kids to handle on their own.

It’s so nice to see DiploBaby & M play! They really play so well together. To see those smiles just makes my day!

Everyone was helping out with putting water into the 2 pools that the boys made.

Gotta have a pic with Jo! Thank you for inviting us Jo!!! Always love weekends with you guys!

A day in the beach is always a day well spent!

FOOT WASH

They have these beautiful stone bowls with flowers so you can rinse off the sand before heading into the restaurant or going back to your rooms. Such a nice and thoughtful touch! This also prevents erosion of the sand or taking the sand with us. So this step is really good for the environment.

SUSTAINABLE

I love how they try to be sustainable. Look at this trashcan! Instead of a plastic liner, they use washable fabric liners. WOW.

THE SWIMSUIT DRYER

Another cool thing I found inside the bathrooms/dressing area are these swimsuit dryers. Just put your swimsuit inside & it will dry your swimsuit. I didn’t get to try it, but I assume it almosts dries it so that you don’t need to pack a soaking-wet suit or swimming trunks/shorts.

THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES ANVAYA COVE!

We were sad to stop swimming & say goodbye… but we were so happy to have had this spur-of-the-moment weekend vacation with our dearest friends.

I love this walkway. And I love how DiploBaby is posing with his hand on his waist. So cute! Still a baby here.
