Our friends Alex & Tess wanted to introduce us to their favorite steak house called Asado Reinickendorf Argentinian Steakhouse. In fact Alex has been going to this steakhouse with his family since he was young. The staff is still the same and there’s a reason that this establishment has lasted so long: High quality well-cooked delicious steaks at reasonable prices!

The rustic interiors are clean & despite the age, it feels like they have renovated their interiors over time.

Acrylic dividers to make it more pandemic friendly.

Happy customers

TD had the chili con carne soup which he enjoyed. It came with a basket of bread. I recommend not filling up on the bread because the salad serving is HUGS & it’s so delicious so you need to reserves space for the salad & steak.

Extra order of grilled corn on a cob which DiploBaby really liked. The corn was sweet & that perfectly smokey grilled taste was delicious!

The mixed salad that comes with the steak is a highlight because of the freshness & sweetness of the vegetables. It’s a meal on it’s own!

Alex always orders the fried onions side dish with the steak & I understand why. It’s perfectly caramelized flavor really compliments the steak!

My well done Tenderloin fillet steak 200g with french fries, steak sauce & salad (not pictured). TD ordered the same thing, but he got it medium and it was very delicious too. I was very surprised at how delicious yet not dry my well done steak was! Another thing that I want to try next time is the Pepper Steak. Oh I also ordered an extra mushroom sauce (not pictured) and it was sooo delicious!

We ordered the Hüftsteak 100g with french fries. I think next time we should try the minced steak or pork steak because the kid’s steak was a bit dry for him so he didn’t finish it.

We were really impressed with the taste, the portion sizes & price of the food.

To cap it off, when you pay, they asked you how you want to cap off your meal: you can have whatever type of coffee or liquor/digestive shot for FREE! This is such a lovely tradition in many Berlin restaurants!

It’s also worth mentioning that the staff was lovely & the toilets clean.

Thank you Alex & Tess for taking us to ASADO Reinickendorf Argentinisches Steakhaus! And thank you to the staff of ASADO for a lovely meal & evening!

I hope you found this review helpful. If you are in the area and you love steak, I can highly recommend this restaurant!
