After having ladies lunch at Avorio, I promised TD (The Diplomat/Hubby) that we would have dinner there. I told him it’s a good italian place. I’ll be honest, it’s not fantastic Italian, but it’s no Pizza Hut either. They use premium ingredients and are very generous with them too!
Spinach and cheese ravioli

I like the bread at this place (soft and freshly baked), but the butter is served only upon request. They use excellent premium butter – so I recommend asking for it! YUM.

Rosemary Chicken Pizza with extra truffle oil on top (we requested for the truffle oil and they nicely obliged without charging us extra.
I let TD order the pizza because I picked the pasta. I should have spoken up – I hate chicken (and seafood) on pizza! So I basically took off the chicken and enjoyed it much more. Personally I like simple pizzas – cheese, basil, garlic and some parma ham is enough to make me swoon. Or even just 3 or 4 kinds of cheeses would rock dinner for me. TD agrees… the margherita (with the extra truffle oil) would definitely have been a better choice.
The Spinach and cheese ravioli was okay and satisfied my cravings for ravioli, which I’ve had since having lunch here with the ladies. Nothing mind-blowing either, but nonetheless enjoyable. One thing’s for sure, next time we come back I am definitely ordering a salad!
