If you find yourself in Bali Collection and you are looking for a place for beers or a place with a band, you can check out Pica Tapas Bar. It’s a lively place that serves seafood and grilled meats. I was surprised with the name because I usually associate “tapas” and “pica-pica” with Spanish food but this was a mediterranean + grill/BBQ place. We were so hungry and wanted a quick place to eat in Bai Collection (unfortunately our go-to0 Bali Collection resto was closed). My verdict after the jump!
The tall glasses of ice cold beer hit the spot! While waiting we enjoyed their freshly baked bread and were delighted with the garlicky bread stick dip. I’m a garlic fiend so I loved it.Of the mixed grilled meats, we really liked the grilled pork ribs (the others not so much). If I ever find myself back in this resto I would just order grilled pork ribs with mashed potatoes. Yum.
The fish was good, though nothing spectacular. I actually enjoyed the buttered veggies more than the fish itself. But it was nice to finally unwind at the end of a busy day. Pica Tapas Bar is one of the places that stays open later than the other restos in Bali Collection. They also have a live band so the place is livelier.
Also coming from the same meeting my husband was busy with were the press from different countries and I guess they also badly needed to unwind because they totally danced their butts off on stage. They totally let loose – LOL! Suot pa nila yung ID nila hahaha!
