TD’s colleague recommended this oh-so-affordable but oh-so-yummy hole-in-the-wall resto in Split called Zlatna Ribica. You can view the reel I made about it here:
After walking around the old town in the hot summer sun, it was a relief to find some air conditioning. Below are pics and more details.
The place is small & I did not expect much from it.
But we were very happy to step in from the heat outside & into an air-conditioned space. What boggled our minds though is why they didn’t close the doors to keep the cold air in & not waste so much electricity.
The couple behind us had apparently come the day before too so we knew it was good.
The yummy combination we had for €56:
Mixed seafood platter (3 kinds) for 2 €24
Squid €15
Fries €3.50
Tartar sauce €1.50
Large sparkling water € 4
Radler (shandy in German) € 3.50 x 2 = €7
Sprite € 3
We were sooo hungry we finished this all!
The tartar dip for the seafood is a must!
I would say this platter + the squid is great for 3 people.
