Because there were a lot of Vietnamese immigrant workers who moved to Berlin in the past, there is usually a Vietnamese resto in each neighborhood. I have been missing the amazing yet affordable Vietnamese food in Berlin since we moved to Switzerland & our friends brought us to their favorite neighborhood Vietnamese resto. Big Pan DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

The restaurant is new & they invested in their interiors. I appreciated how clean everything was!

TD enjoyed his tart yogurt mango smoothie & I enjoyed the ice cold beer!

Though sushi is not Vietnamese it’s very common in Berlin for a Vietnamese, Thai or Chinese resto to have sushi as an offering. They sort of mush together Asian food. The sushi is surprisingly fresh. My friend & I shared the SALMON & AVOCADO MAKI to start. SO good!

All the dishes below came with really fresh & delicious salad. My friend, Tess, enjoyed her UDON with crispy chicken.

I’ve been missing fried spring roll with rice noodle salad so I ordered the BUN NEM BIG PAN. I was literally so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a picture. I wiped out the huge serving.

My husband & our friends loved the PHO BIG PAN with BEEF. My husband likes to eat this hearty soup with a healthy dose of hoisin sauce & sriracha, which they have upon request.

DiploBaby enjoyed his COM RANG or fried rice with crispy chicken breast fillet.

Happy diners!

We capped the wonderful meal with the VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. This sweet coffee was the perfect dessert + coffee in one.

To top it off, the staff was lovely, they invested in the interiors & toilets were exceptionally clean, which we cannot say for all the places we eat in in Berlin.

If you are in the neighborhood & want to have some really fresh & delicious Vietnamese food, I can highly recommend BIG PAN. I’ll definitely be back!
