Set on a small alley, this modern eco-friendly boutique hotel has 12 attractive rooms. It is unique because of it’s convenient automated check-in. Though there was no one when we arrived, they were very responsive and helpful!
THE IDEAL LOCATION
The location is amazing because it’s a 5 minute walk to Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal Avenue, and 2 km from both the Sagrada Famiíla and Catalonia Square.
Transportation is convenient, with the Diagonal Metro Station is just 400 m away and is 3 stops from Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Gaudí’s La Pedrera is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the Bella Gracia.
We loved that there were some really yummy places to eat around Gràcia district: cafés, bars and restaurants! Beautiful squares like Plaza del Sol and Plaza de la Vila de Gràcia can be reached in 10 minutes by foot.
I liked that it was modern and super clean. The artworks were also very refreshing!
The small yet contemporary rooms were designed well and come with airconditioning, Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. We brought a USB with shows and movies for entertainment at night. I love that were extra pillows.
They also provided some water, organic teas and a kettle.
The window with the skylight prevented us from feeling claustrophobic in the small space.
Small yet thoughtfully designed, I love the clean bathroom and white subway tiles. They provide clean and soft towels, soap and shower gel in big containers.
Since the room was small, it was great that we had sunlight filtering into the windows and some greenery outside, while maintaining our privacy.
There’s a furnished rooftop terrace that we did not have the chance to see. The photos below is courtesy of Booking.com
For families, they have family rooms with sleeping lofts. But this hotel has rated well for couples. It is also good to note for someone with asthma like me, that all the rooms are non-smoking.
The rates are so affordable, so it was perfect for our one week stay. When we go back to Barcelona, I would definitely stay here again and get the family room!
