Easy to Pack Yet Absorbent Travel Towels

May 31, 2011

If you are like me and not every trip is in a luxury hotel then there are times when you need to bring a towel. I used to lug around my massive towels until my tita (aunt) introduced me to Sea to Summit’s Micro  Towels!

I got the large size for Php 792 (Original price Php 990) which I feel is perfect for drying my hair, because it wraps around my head and dries so fast!

If these towels are too flimsy for your taste and you prefer the feel of terry cloth you can also check out the Lek Towel. It’s is also light, super absorbent and quick dry – just a little thicker but the texture is closer to regular towel. I’m keeping an eye out for sure!

Do you bring your own towel when you travel on a budget as well? What do you use?

Aquazorb is pretty absorbent but very thin, light and packable. Have you seen this in Manila? They’re so popular as Christmas gifts =)

Yes I’ve seen it around and it is much cheaper (though a bit thicker than Sea to Summit) and still feels like terry cloth… I wanted to get one but my luggage was like 30 kg over weight already! I’ll definitely buy one next time I go to Manila! Is it locally made?

Oh goody! I hate it when fat towels eat up my luggage weight.

Me too! Also check out aquazorb (?)… if you want it slightly thicker but have a more “towel-like” experience – LOL! =P
