A while ago the designer of my blog, Pat of Fancy Girl Design Studio, was asking for suggestions on how she could style her books in a way that made it look pretty, yet still kept the titles visible and the collections together. Rainbox organizing just wasn’t going to do for her amazing book collection.
I sent her some pegs I found that I really liked and was so pleased that she tried it. I’ve always thought that books in pretty paper or kraft paper with the titles on the spine can really pull together your book collection especially if they are in pretty colors that match your home. Patricial did an amazing job!
This is how it looked before:

Pat bought the prettiest papers and her handwriting is so beautiful, don’t you think? She decided to pick different colors for each collection. If you do this, I suggest getting more paper than you need so that when you add to a collection of books, you still have paper to wrap them in. Or else it will be a disaster if you can’t find the same color/design paper any more.

This technique can really level up the styling and help your books blend into your home’s color theme. I always love Patricia’s space which is ever changing in style but always soooo pretty! Her space is a dream!
