GENEVA FINDS: Mabuhay Filipino Store

August 26, 2022

Today we went to a Filipino or Pinoy Store in Geneva called MABUHAY ASIAN STORE because we had to help Yaya B remit her SSS. Not only do they sell a lot of Filipino products, accept SSS & money transfers to the Philippines, but they can also ship BALIKBAYAN BOXES to the Philippines! Talk about a ONE STOP SHOP!

I hope this post gives fellow Filipinos in Geneva and nearby areas what products and services are available in Mabuhay.

*Please note that prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctations, inflation, pandemic port congestion, the war in Ukraine & other factors.

BALIKBAYAN BOXES

You can buy a BALIKBAYAN box from them for 12 CHF, then shipping to Metro Manila is 90 CHF for one box and 80 CHF each if you are shipping 2 BOXES.

Ube or purple yam is a very Filipino ice cream flavor. I found the frozen turon interesting too!

The store isn’t exclusively for Filipino products. They also have other products from other Asian countries.

My favorite crunchy corn snack, BOY BAWAN!

NOVA, CHEESE RINGS & FISHDA Kropek!

They also have Shingaling & Chicharon!

Go down the stairs to see more goodies!

DiploBaby was so excited!

Asian noodles & my favorite from my younger years, Lucky Me Pancit Canton!

Nothing more pinoy than Sky Flakes!

So happy to find PINAKURAT which is originally from my province, Iligan City! It’s a spicy fermented vinegar that startles you awake. That’s why it’s called PINAKURAT! Kurat mean to startle.

There are a lot of frozen options too! I love that they have white corn, longganisa & bangus!

They also have some Filipino personal care products at a price of course.

Noodles from other countries

I hope that this gave you an idea of what you can find in this store and that it makes you visit it yourself to support a proudly Pinoy establishment in Geneva.
