From partying till the wee hours in Manila to now going to the zoo with our kids. It’s so nice when our dear friends feel as close as if we just saw each other yesterday. We were so happy we could catch up while going around the zoo together and watching our kids play.

PRE-PURCHASE TICKETS
We bought our tickets so we entered so fast. No need to line up. Just showed our tickets on our phone.

It was really crowded so my friend Malou, had a brilliant idea. She wrote her number on the back of each kid’s hand just in case they got lost.
Another tip is to bring snacks so we can have a bite when sugar is getting low. Our family favorite is Kind bars in dark chocolate nuts and sea salt. SO good.

There is really a lot of animals for the kids to see. It was a bit warm but there are also faucets around the zoo where you can refill your water bottle. There are loads of places to sit and rest underneath the shade of trees.

OMG I’ve never seen these baboon bums before!

This bear was hamming it up for his audience.

FOOD
It was quite hard finding a place with food. We lined up a long time for one place but then we found other places where we were seated immediately. Bring wipes and sanitizers because there is nobody cleaning the tables in between.

So happy to be together. DiploBaby and M are best buds since they were babies. Just like their dads.

The glass enclosures have signs for kids not to touch, but that’s an impossible ask IMO. A bit of germs strengthen their immune system. Anyway, these are European germs, not tropical ones LOL!

OMG I love this fat lemur so much! I like to move it, move it!

They even had a white tiger!

Because of the pandemic, they had these signs. It was super crowded though.

We ended the visit with the petting zoo. Be ready to clean poop out of your shoe soles after. It was worth it coz everyone had fun. TD was scratching the back of the goats head like he would a dog. I thought it was so cute.

There is also an aquarium but the line was so impossibly long, we didn’t even try.
The bathrooms can be super gross but thankfully we found a quieter bathroom by the petting zoo and it wasn’t as gross. Having sanitizer & tissue helped us.
