I am happy to say that I wrote my first article as one of the Blissmakers on MakeItBlissful.com. Imagine how ecstatic I was when editor, Martine de Luna, asked me to be part of her amazing online magazine that has such a heartening message women. Honestly I was surprised to be asked, because though I strive daily to find bliss, I feel that it can also be a struggle. So imagine what a confidence booster it was to be asked to join such an inspiring group of women.
MAKE IT BLISSFUL is more than a blog, a website, an online magazine. It is a movement, a collective of women who advocate meaningful living.
It has been a while since I wrote a DIPLO HOME post. It takes me a long time to write about my this topic because it’s something that is very personal and close to my heart. I feel added pressure and fear when I open up my home to the world wide web. Martine asked me to write about how I create a home away from home as an expat who has to move every 2-4 years. This is quite a challenge for me because I need to balance creating a home we love with a practical budget and the ability to move on a month or twos notice.

A lot of thought and time went into the writing this post. All the photos are of our home here in Berlin. I hope you guys can check it out. The blog post is entitled Content to Rent and you can read it here.
I want to thank everyone who has encouraged me to write more about home and decor. Thank you for the opportunity Martine (and also for your continued patience with my own process of slow blogging).
I always look forward to your articles! They are always well thought out and born out of love and care. I admire you so much for that. One day, write a coffee table book!!! I’ll help you!!
