I love laptop balls because they help you with your posture (Back and arms) when you are using your computer plus get some air circulating under the laptop too! But the problem I had with mine is it would not stick properly onto the laptop any more because the “hairs” of the “velcro” were all messed up already. (see picture below – Left). Read on to check out how I fixed it!
I didn’t wanna buy a new one since this lil’ buddy can cost you about $20 and you’d have to buy a new one ever so often once it’s messed up again. So here’s my quick fix!
Remove the “velcro” carefully with scissors. If there is adhesive left just use the sticky side of the old “velcro” to remove it by pressing it and lifting repeatedly until all traces of adhesive is removed. Use alcohol with cotton if this doesn’t work.
THE NOT-SO-SECRET WEAPON:
TIP: Use scissors coated with teflon when cutting tape and other adhesives. The adhesive don’t stick to the scissors and you don’t ruin another one of these babies! I got mine for about $1.50 in National Bookstore in Manila.
And these laptop balls are back in business! No need to buy new ones YAY!
