Since we got the first of our new custom-made teak furniture delivered, I now have a new favorite spot in the flat: the couch with my new side table.

old/recycled teakwood C-shaped side table slips perfectly under & over the couch when I need to use it. I store it right beside the couch, like a regular side table with the floor lamp tucked inside it.
I had the side table made specifically so that could I slip it into the couch and place my laptop on it. During the day it’s lovely to work here – so comfortable and lots of natural light! With a cup of coffee nearby, I sit back on the pillows and type away, enjoying the sunshine and the breeze from the windows.
You two have a beautiful home, and wonderful taste. 🙂
Thanks Justin! =)
My questions for you are, I love the paintings you have in the picture!! Where did you get it? Expensive? And by whom? Thanks! That’s the only key thing that is missing in our condo.
Thanks Poker Goddess! We got it in Jogjakarta. They are by Sutrisno, and established local painter. We got it for only Rp 1.9M for both which is cheap considering that when we googled him some of his paintings are valued at 13M, albeit bigger in size and more complex (check out the link in my post below)
