Last April we decided to host a potluck get together to catch up with friends and to introduce some new ones to each other and to TD. It was also how TD wanted to celebrate his birthday. Something super low key and casual. It was so much fun to introduce my blog friends like Chuzai Living and Asian Fashion Law to my cooking demo friends and to some Pinoy friends. It was wonderful how everyone gelled together. We had a lot of fun and I hope we have another one again in the future!
To keep it simple and have more space for food on the table I placed my capiz bowl BALI SHELL MUSEUM and my capiz balls TESOROS.
Thanks for the Bangladeshi Red Lentil Dhal Huma and the salad from D!
Corn on cob / Mushroom & Cream Sauce Rigatoni with Truffle Oil
Filipino Adobo from DiploFrieds / Chinese Bruneian Chicken Wings bu Dona / Jamaican Curried Goat from Asian Fashion Law
K brought some homemade Ice Cream with Graham Crackers / Thanks for the chocolates Huma!
I made my signature Tiramisu cupcakes!
We also had a special guest that night… Super cute Chuzai Baby! He was such an angel and slept though all the chatter and music. Wow!
I think it was DiploDog’s first time to every meet a baby! He was so curious – he’s never seen such a tiny human being. I can imagine he was thinking, “Is this a really small human or a fur-free dog?!?” hahaha! He kept on sniffing Chuzai Baby LOL!
Everyone loved holding him. Hmmmmm… calling the baby energy perhaps?!?
So many fun conversations…
Thanks so much for coming everyone. Everyone was such lovely company. Aside from the food thanks also for brining wine Chuzai Living and Asian Fashion Law! And many thanks to K&D for the handy hand-held scale! We can’t believe how small and light it is!
I had to take a picture of the pretty bag it came in. Digging the velcro closure – what a clever idea!
Again thanks to everyone for making this a memorable night! I also appreciate Huma and Dona for letting me use some of their pictures again! Love y’all!

It was a lovely evening!! I love all the action shots! I think my son looks small in the photo, but I thought he was big! He’s even bigger now!! The Diplo Dog was so cute. He looked like he wanted to say “what’s that little creature that’s about the same size as me? How come he gets held by people?” Thanks for the fun time!! We all had a wonderful time with you and your friends!!
