While walking from our fantastic lunch at Natürlich to old town, we passed by this famous patisserie & decided to go in.
The smell of delicious buttery baked goods assaulted our sense of smell. The beautiful pieces of patisserie & the bright whimsical interiors were a visual feast.
We asked them what they recommended and they said their bestsellers were these chocolate and vanilla loaves which basically looked like rectangular croissants so I got one each.
They gave it to me in this cute little box!
So pretty! I definitely want to come back and have coffee hear with a girlfriend.
When I got home I surprised TD, DiploBaby & his classmate with these delicious goodies.
We tasted the vanilla first and were surprised by the vanilla cream filling. It was very good. Not too sweet.
The chocolate also had a chocolate filling and was oh-so-good. I used a bread knife to cut each into 4.
This is how it looks inside. It’s definitely a delicious treat for serious chocolate lovers.
I personally preferred the vanilla and my boys liked the chocolate. Both are FANTASTIC and something we’ve never had before. If you are in Geneva and you love patisserie or pastries, then I can highly recommend Patisserie Sofia!
