This is in the same building as our hotel, but a little bit confusing because this ART CENTER has a different ticket purchasing area, which is also their gift shop. Then you have to go to another location to access their exhibitions, art collection & La Pisa 500 rooftop garden.
#TIPIDTIP: If you are staying at the NH Lingotto Hotel reception should give you free tickets. Since they didn’t give. us, the nice people upstairs found us complimentary tickets we could use to enjoy the different art displays.

In short, there is a lot to do. I wish we allotted more time so we could also have enjoyed the cafe. Set aside at least half the day for this. And best to end it with sunset at the rooftop garden or at the cafe.

DOG-FRIENDLINESS: We were happily surprised to find that they allow dogs. TD just had to carry him around to make sure he didn’t pee. It’s my first time to encounter a dog friendly museum!

They have lockers so you can enjoy going around hands-free. Make sure you have coins to use.

FIAT CAFE 500
On the way to the exhibitions we passed by the gorgeous cafe with a stunning view of La Pista 500 race track. I wish we had time to sit and relax but we were so late. Nearing sunset already.

THE GIOVANNI AND MARELLA AGNELLI COLLECTION
For me, this is the highlight of the whole visit. A small but impressive collection that are owned by the owners of FIAT. Every pieces was stunning + the Picassos. Imagine, now we can say that Pompy has seen a Picasso?!

TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS
They also had more modern temporary exhibitions. I found is super interesting, coz I love modern art.

Reminds me of that Daft Punk song

LA PISTA 500 ROOFTOP GARDEN
This rooftop space used to be the racetrack of FIAT for testing cars. I was really impressed! A racetrack on a rooftop is not so common. They transformed it into a gorgeous rooftop garden with pieces of art & audio. It was so lovely walking around. I highly recommend this experience for families!

You can see the courtyard of the former factory in the middle. Now it has the Lingotto mall.

Loving this oversized golden scissor sculpture!

So lush!!!

Where the cars enter the racetrack before

The curving edges are angled so the cars don’t fly off the roof when they are racing.

How cool is that viewing deck???

The view of the garden (same as our hotel room) below & the Italian Alps in the background is stunning.

BACK AT THE CAFE AGAIN
Once the sunset we went back in and it was the cafe. Too bad it was closed already. More about the FIAT CAFE 500.

Italy has always been synonymous with good design. It was cool to see some iconic designs of everyday objects being celebrated.

The FIAT is so iconic.

The Master Model

It was a tiring but super fun afternoon. All we needed to do was find the mall exhit nearest to NH Lingotto so we could get back to the hotel.

And just like that we are back in the hotel. It can be quite a walk because the forme car factory is not small.
