Signed Azkals jersey

February 22, 2011

I was telling Rob Gier during our lunch with Azkals here in Jakarta that I wanted to have them sign something but I was a bit embarrassed. And with some encouragement from him to send over something for the team to sign (he said he would pass it around) I sent them the pics I took of them for signing.

Azkals jersey

With a pin to boot. Thanks Richard and Josef for the awesome remembrance of Suzuki Cup 2010!!

The best thing was Richard, one of their managers, asked me if I wanted a signed shirt to go with that! Of course I said yes! How exciting! I didn’t really wanna ask but since he offered…who am I to say no to that?!? =D

Funny how Neil Etheridge thought this shirt was for Richard. I guess Simon McMenemy did too (see below) – is Cheddy a nickname for Richard? =)

I’ll post the signed pictures (some of em even wrote some nice messages) next time, I promise! =D

How sweet!! I would love to have something like that from the Team Japan. Are you going to frame it? Don’t tell me you sleep with it! 😛

Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog. About the Indonesian Heritage Society, I think you will love joining an explorer group. You can either do study group, explorer or just attend some lectures whenever there is one. There are different kinds of explorer groups for different needs. Some meet once a week, every other week or once a week during the week or on a weekend. I am in a group that meets once a month on Wednesday. The group goes on a tour to some places you might not have a chance to go otherwise. I like it very much and I have also met some nice ladies with various backgrounds. Knowing how outgoing you are, I think you’ll enjoy it very much!

Hahaha no I don’t sleep with it. I haven’t even washed it because I am not sure if they used the fabric pen I gave them to use. I’m afraid it will fade after I wash LOL! But I really should. =P

I would love to join for that once a month group – I cannot commit more of my time unfortunately. How do I do this and what are the requirements? Thanks so much for the hook up!
