Some weekend announcements for Manila & Jakarta

Hello everyone! How’s your weekend going? It’s labor day tomorrow in the Philippines and there’s an up to 70% markdown sale in Makati and for the month of May a new cooking class schedule at the Ritz Carlton Jakarta. For anyone interested, the details after the jump!

I’ve shared with you the Italian vs. Pastry cooking class, the Chinese cooking class, and mooncake making demo that I’ve attended in past blog posts and I got a couple of inquiries as to the next classes these hotels would hold. I’m happy to announce that there is another one from The Ritz this May! I thoroughly enjoyed the one I atteneded and highly recommend taking a cooking class from a hotel. Great value for money considering after you learn how to make hotel quality dishes – you are also served a 4 course meal (or many more!). The upcoming class at Ritz is especially interesting because they are teaching how to make lobster risotto! Now that will really impress your spouse or guests!

I recently got an invite to go to a sale at the enterprise. I love these kinds of sales which go up to 70 (or even 90% of like the Big Outlet Sale). I normally do all my shopping in these kinds of events so I rarely get stuff in their original price. I don’t really care if it’s the latest season or not since I mostly go for classics and basics. I wont be able to attend this but though my readers and blog friends in Manila would wanna check it out!

The items are mostly casual, lifestyle shoes and apparel from the brands below. Parents may be interested in buying stuff for their children/teens or tweens. And those with a more casual (to rugged) look might be interested too.

According to my contact, during the previous Markdown Madness  just this April, different styles of Skechers shoes catered to Moms, Dads, teens and kids. Ecko and Zoo York carry shoes and apparel for tweens, teens, and young adults. Pony is a casual brand of sneakers that caters to youth and young adults as well. Merrell outdoor shoes and sandals caters to youth and young adults who are more on the casual, rugged side.
