I recently scored a stylish jewelry stand by Umbra from Ace Hardware Gandaria. I was so happy to get the last one! I love their acrylic line but I always see the Patridge Jewelry Tree which is not really my style. (It’s too “country” for me.) The one I bought is the Icelet Jewelry Stand, which again is sleek and sophisticated with simple lines.I haven’t gotten around to taking pictures of it, so this picture via Umbra will have to do. Don’t you just love it? Now I have a place to hang or stash my recently worn jewelry!
I love the entire line. But I’m not really gonna buy the rest of it, because it will to too matching for me. But check em out anyway! I just love the edgy clear look!
Icelet Wall Hook via The Afternoon
For me, the Icelet Wall Hook is too small for hanging clothes on, but the size is perfect for accessories like scarves and longer necklaces if attached strategically on your vanity. Hmmmm… I’m having second thoughts, after seeing this:

I saw ONE piece of the Icelet Wall Hook in Aksara Pacific Place. Maybe I shouldn’t gotten it. What do you think? I haven’t started designing my vanity/dresser yet so I have to get the different accessories that I’d like “built-in” to it.
Muse Icelet Ring Holder via Umbra
LOVE! I just love the Icelet line of Umbra, because the clear look means that it doesn’t take up much space visually and the form is also organic yet modern.
Another thing that caught my attention in Ace Gandaria are are the Muse Ring Holders of Umbra…
All the designs are sooo cute. I love the candelabra design, though it doesn’t fit my home’s theme, it does makes for a great gift don’t you think?
There are so many ways to stylishly store/organize accessories. You can use hooks and other items that aren’t even made specifically for accessories. Think outside the box! Click here for so many other great vanity-organizing ideas!
I wrote a comment for this post the other day, but it didn’t go through for some reason. Today it seems to be working, so here I am again. The Umbra jewelry stand is beautiful! I think it’s very much your style! I can’t believe you found it in ACE! I have to go to ACE in Gandaria. They seem to have different items from ACE in Pasaraya. I agree with you that the coat hunger is a bit too small for coats, but it would be perfect for a jewelry hanger. Good thinking!
Hi Kaho, the different branches of Ace have different merchandising/stocks! So occasionally I drop by Ace in Grand Indonesia as well! But Ace Gandaria is awesome! I can’t believe that Ace is my favorite shop here! It seems to have the cute stuff! Thank you for the kind compliments =)
Have you been to Aksara Pacific Place? They have a couple of Umbra things too, but I’m guessing the price will be different from Ace..
Ace Gandaria is evil! I spent waaay too long hanging around that place, wanting things I don’t need :p
I love Ace Gandaria, Aksara Pacific Place and Aksara Kemang. I always scout each store to check out their new umbra stuff! But the price in Ace is practically 50% of the Aksara prices for Umbra items! The merchandise is not the same though so bad luck if it’s only available in Aksara hehe. This is my favorite buy in Aksara kemang (which buy the way is their main gift shop outlet so they have more gift goodies there than their branches in Pacific Place and EX) http://undiplomaticwife.com/2010/11/23/taking-tea-to-another-level-with-teacupcakes/ Check it out! Isn’t it sooooo cute??
Fred is one of my fave brands for cute accessories! Check out their site: http://www.worldwidefred.com/ It’s just full of really fun and functional things 😀
I recently bought this: http://www.worldwidefred.com/saltandpeeper.htm at Debenhams Senayan City, they seem to be stocking a lot of Fred lately, and their price is also pretty cheap!
Cool. I absolutely love Fred. I’ve been giving it to friends and family (and myself) as gifts for years. There is something about that look of wonder and delight in their faces that makes it so nice to give! In Manila I have a secret supplier of Fred products. I spend maybe 5-10usd for something that would cost me 30-50 usd here. and I thought that was already expensive for manila prices. Sigh. Thanks for the Debenhams Senayan tip though… I’ll take a look. Sometimes I indulge in buying once in a while as a stress reliever (retail therapy rocks!) =P but currently so will just have a looks-see. Thanks mouse!
