GRATITUDE CORNER: Reese’s from Starlet!

August 12, 2011

I just wanna say thank you to Starlet of Can You Come Home blog for the Mini Reese’s Peanut butter cups that arrived at “our doorstep!” She read about my love for Reese’s on this post. Check out the sweet note that came with it after the jump!

She read about how much I missed my favorite chocolate treat on this post and when she recently came home to Indonesia, she PMed me on Twitter and asked me if I wanted some! Isn’t she the sweetest?!? It really made my day! And TD and I have been savoring each one… we alway promise to have “just one” and yet it’s so hard to resist so we usually have 2 each whenever we decide to indulge ourselves to a Reese’s post-dinner treat. =P

One of the joys of having a blog is the people you “meet” from all over the world. This is not physical meeting, but via our blogs. The great thing about this is that you find other people who have similar interests and you get to know them deeper with each posts. Bloggers love to share. (Duh!? That’s why we blog! =P) Sometimes I feel like I am more in touch with my blogger friends that my physical friends because I hear from them on a daily basis via their blog posts or their comments on my blog. I never feel lonely staying at home all the time, because I feel I am always communicating with people anyway. I love getting comments on my blog! Receiving gifts from blog friends is also one of the many sweet things that blogging brings. (I can’t wait to write to you about the AMAZING gift I got from OC Mom in Manila! Watch out for it next week!)

How about you – do you have a blog or do you love reading blogs? Tell me why you love it!

Thanks again Starlet. Hope we get to meet in person someday!

P.S.

Check out Starlet’s beautiful blog here. Starlet has also started an online store called Suddenly Pink and it’s free shipping to us here in Jakarta! Check it out here! Amazing branded items at unbeatable prices. I can totally see Chuzai Living shopping here. I would too, if we weren’t broke from the last 2 trips (TOTALLY worth it though!).

Awww, I love Starlet’s handwriting! It is so true about the joy of having a blot is ‘meeting’ people. Starlet is a sweet girl. She’s very talented, too. It’s so special to receive something from home which you cannot have in a foreign country you reside. I’m glad you guys connected!
