The Harmony in Seminyak was recommended by a fabulous friend, a magazine editor, who we will call Ted. We wanted a place that was cheap, yet chic and new. This place was perfect, a small boutique hotel that pleased my modern minimalist aesthetics. We loved our stay, and what a great deal for 50USD a night per room!
We got the deluxe room which had all the usual amenities (AC, Phone, minibar, safety deposit box, etc) but what I loved about it was the high ceilings and the skylight. The hotel provides wi-fi in the lobby, but if you’re lucky, you’ll have a bit of wi-fi signal in your room.
FOOD
Breakfast is free, but the food is not great. To be honest not even average. But the great thing about it is, it’s beside the Delicious Onion restaurant which is pretty cheap and really good food (especially their pork dishes, and the brownies). So we didn’t take our free breakfast, and instead walked over next door for brunch. Drinks are relatively cheap as well.
CLEANLINESS
Service was not consistent though, because when we had to transfer rooms, we noticed that the new attendant did not clean the room and provide the same things that were provided in the last one. However the attendant in our first room was quite good.
UP SIDE
The interiors lovely and the ambiance is quiet… perfect for a young couple like us. This is not as kid friendly as places like Harris Hotel, where they even have clowns and ziplines to entertain the kids. The drinks in the minibar were surprisingly affordable. Pick up and tour services are cheap. And I love the pool area!
