Swiss Army Card Lite

December 12, 2011

Here’s another thing that I don’t travel without: My Swiss Army Card Lite! It goes without saying that people who DON’T check-in luggage, cannot bring this on the plane. Then again, I don’t pretend to be a light packer. =P This DiploWife must be ready for dinner with royalty, presidential sightings or market shopping! I like to be ready for anything!

The SwissCard combines a total of 13 functions – including a bright LED light – in the format of a conventional credit card. Various Phillips screwdrivers even make it possible to carry out simple repairs to PCs and other electronic equipment. No wonder the revolutionary pocket tool was given the top prize for product design at the ‘red dot award.

What’s in a  Swiss Army Card Lite?

  1. tweezers
  2. pressurized ballpoint pen
  3. pin stainless
  4. screwdriver
  5. screwdriver 3mm
  6. Phillips screwdriver 00-0
  7. Phillips screwdriver for PH1 and PH2
  8. scissors
  9. LED, light white
  10. letter opener (blade)
  11. magnifying lens
  12. ruler (cm)
  13. ruler (inches)

As small as a credit card and so much lighter than the original Swiss Army Knife! How cool is that?!?

During travel, this little card has saved me from splinters, assisted me in quick sewing repairs and helped me pack. How about you? Do you have a  Swiss Army Card Lite and when has it helped you out?

I should get one. I saw these at the mall but I only learned here that it has 13 items in that compact size. Thanks. 🙂

I’m glad you learned something new on this post! Lemme know what you think when you get one! =D

      P.S.
Since this is so tiny, don’t get the black colored one because it’s easy to lose in your luggage. The colored ones are easier to spot! =P
