Arriving Athens at scorching noon, we were ravenous. One thing great about Athens is you can find small bites at ever corner. I just want to share with you the littles bites we took while roaming around the streets on our Greek vacation.

STREET FOOD VENDORS
I love street food and we were able to indulge, while doing a lot of walking in Athens. Vendors along Metropoleos with carts full of greek delicacies like these gorgeous bread rings

SUGAR DUSTED DONUTS
Be prepared to get sugar all over your face when you bite it.

GRILLED CORN AND CHESNUTS
PAPRIKA COATED NUTS
Inside the botanical garden we snacked on this street food.

In the famous Monastiraki square, vendors selling all sorts of knick knacks, fruits (cherries at that time) and coconut juice. Isn’t the vending cart display of this man interesting with it’s mini coconut water fountain?

THE ICE CREAM SHOP ATHENS
Pandrosou Street & Monastiraki Square, Athens 10555, Greece
Apart from the street food, we made sure to look for The Ice Cream shop in Monastiraki square just to try out their Nutella Ice Cream. It was worth all the calories and I recommend it to any ice cream-/Nutella-lover out there.

LE CHOCOLAT ATHENS
Servias Karagiorgi 3, Athina 10563 • Voulis 14, Athina 10563 • Kassaveti 6, Kifisia 14562
This place called Le Chocolat. Pictured below is not the main store because if my internet research is correct, they have 3 store locations (see above). I am not so sure which on is pictured below because their website doesn’t seem to be working as of the time I am writing this post.

It is worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth, or would like to buy Greek products to take home.

Our favorites were the soft nougat with hazelnuts and wafers.

And the chocolate dipped candied orange slices. This is the best I’ve tasted so far, even better than the ones we usually get from here.
