I’ve been following Travels with a Gourmet for quite some time now. Reading about her culinary adventures in her current home: Bali. So at one of our trips to Bali, we finally got a chance to meet up for tea at The Bar in the fabulous Bulgari Hotel in Bali.
I arrived at the hotel’s lobby and was captivated by the simple yet luxurious decor. It was so simple yet so posh. From the lobby I was driven to The Bar in a golf cart. The ride was pleasant and I got to see some lovely views.
It was so fantastic to finally meet a fellow Filipina blogger that I’ve been friends with online!
The menu of The Bar is limited to to drinks, pica-pica and desserts. For main meals, they have Il Ristorante, Sangkar and La Spiaggia. We were served a yummy assortment of 3 different appetizers while deciding what to order.
We even had some entertainment by way of the naughty monkeys that were trying to steal food from Sangkar guests!
Thanks so much for tea, Travels with a Gourmet! It was great chatting with a Filipina also living in Indonesia and hearing about your experiences as an expat living in different countries.
After tea, while waiting for the driver to pick me up at the Bulgari lobby, I finally got a chance to take photos of the breathtaking view of the cottages facing the Indian Ocean. My photos don’t do Bulgari Hotel and The Bar justice so if you have a chance to visit the hotel and dine in one of their restaurants, I say go for it!
DID YOU KNOW?
Bulgari Hotel is at the southernmost tip of Bali.
Each of the Bulgari Hotel Villas is outfitted with a Bang and Olufsen TV and stereo system. WHOA. (One B&O TV can be as expensive as a car!) How’s that for luxury?!?
