We finally arrived. There was several outdoor parking spaces to choose from outside the hotel.

TD took a while to check us in, but we enjoyed lounging in the lobby.

The hotel is in the former FIAT factory which is why you can see the industrial details in the ceiling and all around.

Lots of FIAT merch too!

Comfy seats in the lobby

Continuous active sanitations was reasurring during COVID times.

Super high ceilings with lots of sunlight streaming in.

The green oasis on the way to the rooms was paradise!

Designer MCM furniture even in the common areas

The corridors area bit dated but clean.

When we entered our room, there was a little foyer to sit, remove our shoes & also leave our luggage. This was very convenient.

BATHROOM
The bathroom is also a bit dated, but still thoughtfully designed. My only complaint was the water pressure. It was super low, because the water didn’t drain well. We complained and they somehow improved it. Not totally fixed but it improved.

Even the heating/towel drying rack is beautiful.

They had a separate bidet, soap & bum towels, to wipe your butt after washing your bum. I’ve never encountered that before!

TRAVEL TIP: If you don’t have Just a Drop or Poop spray when you are traveling & sharing a bathroom, simply pour the hotel liquid soap/shampoo around the toilet & lightly flush. This will usually make it bubble & freshen the smell to be considerate to the next peson using the bathroom.

THE SUITE
Wow the room was quite impressive. Not only did it have the usual amenities, but we had thoughtful Mid-Century Modern designer furniture to boot!

We could see the details of the pieces in the room: from when they were designed to who designed them. I love functional art so much so i was totally geeking out!

What a spacious room that’s full of light!

I thought the men’s coat rack/caddy was so cool! Can you spot the MCM furniture?

The pull out was for DiploBaby & Yaya B.

DIPLODOG’S TRAVEL BED
Only in Switzerland can you find a travel bed for a dog. This was our first time bringing it and it was more convenient than bringing his full-sized bed. I bought this in Schilliger. Worth every cent coz it’s so well made!

BREAKFAST BUFFET
On our first morning, we opted to pay around 30 Euros each for breakfast. We didn’t want to have to look for a good place to eat. I felt like it was worth it coz we enjoyed the good LavAzza coffee, yummy cold cuts & breads.

Give me a soft croissant and yummy cold cuts with cheese and I’m a happy camper.

DiploBaby liked the fluffy pancakes with nutella on top

Of course the olive oil & balsamic vinegar were delicious. The buffet was in a small narrow room, but there was a good variety.

Prosecco & juices for those who want to start drinking early lol!

The usual fruits, cereals, yogurts, nuts and salads.

Fluffy pancakes

Freshly baked goodies

SLEEP
We had very good sleep in this hotel. The mattresses, pillows and beddings are great. But I still brought my own Tempur-pedic pillow for my head. The room was soundproofed well & the curtains kept the lights out.

Look who snuck into our bed in the morning as we were trying to wake up.

It’s worth mentioning again that the beddings were nice. I would stay here again.
IN CONCLUSION
We really enjoyed our stay in NH Lingotto Torino. If you are a fan of Mid-Century Modern furniture, you will especially love it. To sleep surrounded by such beautiful thoughtful design is a dream come true!
So far for a family room or suite, this has been the biggest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in with the highest ceilings & a beautiful view outside the window.

When you have a good room where you can truly rest & recharge, then you have more energy to enjoy the rest of your day exploring the city. Don’t you agree?
