Spotted on TV: AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Semi Final 2nd Leg Indonesia vs Philippines

December 21, 2010

Video highlights of the 2nd game of Philippines vs Indonesia in the Suzuki Cup Semi-finals were shown on TV. Unfortunately we can’t find the video online anymore but I took a screenshot of the Philippine Fans!

Those are our friends holding flags: H, W, K, I, S and a partial of TD! I was off to the right side of the pic. Too small for the video cam perhaps?!?  =P

It was so funny coz our friends are from different ASEAN countries and when their friends saw them on TV, they were asking: What the heck were you doing with the AZKAL’s (Philippine Team) fans in the audience!

We are so lucky we have such an awesome and tight ASEAN group of friends in Jakarta! They are so supportive. We regularly play tennis, and sometimes table tennis!

True… but you’ve to give the team credit. The Indonesian team just came from a season of games so they are already used to playing with their teammates, the noise in their stadium, the high pressure and their bodies are used to it. Our team on the other hand are composed of people with day jobs (aside from the half fil professionals) who only got together some weeks before the tournament. It can only get better from here Dave!
