I’m a sucker for white pots. And one of the questions I get the most often on Instagram is where I get my white pots. Most of them are from Germany, but I also got some affordable ones in QC here. However, the really nice ones are from Elho.
When I was in Berlin, I loved getting white plant pots from Elho because I knew they were made of recycled plastic. The white pots were beautiful and functional because they had white drain plates to match every size!
I was really happy to find that Elho is available locally at Qach Lifestyle & Garden. And it was definitely worth it for me to go all the way to the south (Alabang) to get a few pots. They also have others stores, the contact details of which you can find at the end of this post.
Since 1964 Elho’s Dutch designers have been creating the most beautiful pots & constantly looking for new possibilities and smart solutions, so that we can surround ourselves with nature with as little effort as possible. They believe that surrounding ourselves with nature doesn’t only make us happy, but our plants and the environment will love us for it as well.
80% of the materials that Elho uses are made with recycled plastic. That means that they have incorporated almost 8.400,000 kilos of recycled plastic into their pots in the past year alone! AND it’s 100% powered by the wind they make sure that everything they make is recyclable again. How’s that for sustainable? I love mindful companies like this! Yes we pay a premium, but we know what we are paying for.
What I love about Qach is that each plant already comes with easy instructions to follow. Perfect for someone who doesn’t naturally have a green thumb like me!
For such a small place they have everything, from succulents, to gadgets that allow you to grow plants with light, purify the air and increase the humidity.
I remember we used to have this herb pot that comes with built-in scissors for cutting herbs.
And I love their pretty watering can selection.
Whther you want to hang plants from the ceiling or you have limited spaces in your balcony, Qach has you covered.
Minimalist Greenville Hanging Basket have drain saucers!
They also have huge pots for people who have large garden spaces.
The options for maximizing vertical spaces really make me happy.
Just like these GREEN BASICS VERTICAL GARDEN. If I had a balcony or a yard, I would definitely love to fill this with different vegetables! Use with a special saucer to protect your floor from moisture damage or avoid puddles that attract mosquitos.
These EASY HANGER TRIOS are perfect for balconies. They fit railings up to 6cm wide & have integrated drainage holes & saucers to keep your plants healthy for a long time.
Easily identify your plants with these plant labels.
I also love that they have plant that are grown in a non-soil option! So for those that don’t like to deal with messy soil, this is amazing!
During our visit I was able to get different white pots and even this gorgeous white watering can with a long and narrow spout.
My only frustration during that time was they didn’t have pots with drain holes and saucers. They recommend that you plant in this soft plastic that you can get in a hardware store, then it drains into their white pots. I personally want to use less unrecyclable plastic so I did not bother.
The cool thing now is that you can order from their online store. They have so many things available:
They currently service delivery to Metro Manila, Sta. Rosa Laguna and Silang Cavite.
They have a lot of stores, but I would call or message them on social media first to check if they are open and what their shortened lockdown hours are.
