Before I left Germany to move back to the Philippines, one of the things I bought was a wireless glue gun. I love it SOOOOOO much! It’s been one my my favorite DIY tools because as you know I love to DIY – from Father’s Day gifts to parties!
Most especially now with the pandemic and being locked down for 6+months, I prefer to DIY gifts instead of taking the risk to go out.
I love it so much so I wanted to share the existence of wireless glue guns with you!
STEINEL NEO1 CORDLESS GLUE GUN PROS
- I’ve always hated those gnarly wires. They can be annoying to work with while trying to work quickly with hot glue.
- Rechargeable so I can bring it with me when I go to clients homes without asking for a electric outlet to plug in
- It heats up in 15 seconds flat unlike other glue guns take take a few minutes.
- I find it easier to work with because I hold it like a pen.
- I can charge it using a USB charger.

The only CON with this item is you really have to use your nails to turn the button on and off. I guess it’s just as well that it’s difficult to turn on so that it doesn’t turn on accidentally.
It works on wood, glass, leather, plastic, paper, metal, stone, porcelain, textile, carton and cork!

The clear glue sticks come in 2 different strengths! I also love that it comes with different colored glue sticks.

And I can’t believe they also have GLITTER GLUE STICKS. OMG!

Which means you can use it also for art! But just be careful though because it’s hot. It only takes 15 seconds to heat up! So fast!

I got the blue one because I don’t think they had the cute pink color in 2015!

It also comes in this pretty pink rose color!

OTHER WIRELESS GLUE GUN OPTIONS
Bosch GluePen
Bosch Gluey super slim glue pen in marshmallow white
Steinel Gluematic 5000

There are a lot of Wireless Glue Gun options on Amazon in the USA however I don’t know if it will work because I know their electronics are 110v however if it’s wireless, then it should not be a problem right?
I am not posting any here though because even the best rated ones have some really negative reviews. Or the charge doesn’t last long.
For something like this I would trust Bosch and Steinel which are reputable German brands.
HOW TO GET THEM TO THE PHILIPPINES
I recommend getting them on Amazon.uk or Amazon.de then having them shipped to your UK ShippingCart address. Then ship to the Philippines. I would of course add some other small items like extra glue sticks (the glitter and colored ones) so that your shipping to the Philippines is worth it!
Have you ever heard of a rechargeable glue gun? Would it be something you would like to have?
