When I was researching for the best Diaper Pail, I remember distinctly a friend complaining of the smell that would come out of her Diaper Genie every time she used it. Because it still opens you up to all the diapers inside each time you open. Yikes!
I thought there must be a better option! And thankfully I found the Tommee Tippee Sangenic Tec! It’s simpler because there is no chemical scents or blockers that open each time you put in a diaper. You simply twist the bag shut after each diaper… so in the end it looks like a sausage string!
This is how to put in the refill:
It has it’s own refills and I can say from years of experience with it that we never smelled anything bad in my son’s room when we were using it. It was right in front of the air conditioner yet no smell!
So if you don’t want stinky smell to assault your sense of smell whenever you throw out your diaper or you don’t want to have to go out to the trash bins or trashcans in cold weather, I can highly recommend the Tommee Tippee diaper pail.

My version is the Tommee Tippee Sangenic Tec. I love how minimalist it looks and it doesn’t take ups so much space! It fits with my son’s Scandi room don’t you think?
They have a newer version now called the Tommee Tippee Twist and Click. It’s supposed to be more environmentally friendly than the original
These are the compatible refills. I do not recommend the Simplee because it doesn’t twist and seal. So it’s still the same stinkie problem compared to other brands.
