After having an amazing lunch of Shrimp Quesedillas and Pollo Asado Street tacos, we were standing around waiting for our car, and TD said… hey doesn’t that store look like a store we would find in Berlin? I turned around an lo and behold was XEPTION PH.
It gave off that cool hipster vibe of the stores near Rosenthaler Platz and had the multi functionality common in many places I’ve visited in Berlin – hipster designer fashion, lifestyle, cafe and event space. The space is surprisingly huge, especially in prime Makati real estate!
They serve delicious flat whites in a small cafe surrounded by all this delicious designer items. It was a perfect cap to our yummy lunch.
XEPTION FASHION SPACE
On the top floor you have hip designer labels with a cool circular dressing room.
XEPTION LIFESTYLE SPACE
The floor below is heaven for me because it had so many functional art pieces for the home. As you know from reading along my decluttering journey when you choose to have less, you can also afford to have better things at home. Fewer but better pieces can make every day life blissful, and make mundane tasks such a pleasure!
Rory Jobner England homeware with curious, quirky hand illustrations
Palomar Italy smart bike accessories like the Lochness
Bordbar Cologne, Germany repurposed airline food trolleys
Renova Portugal colored toilet paper, favored by Beyonce.
Design Letters Denmark for tableware for kids and adults + stationery
Beyond Object London a design-led brand focusing on desktop objects and home accessories that believes functional objects can be designed and crafted as art.

At the very end, was a delightul lower level, unique event space!
Definitely a must for lovers of mindful and clever design. You can hang out and have coffee while surrounded by functional art and beautiful design.
